Group 8 Day 12

Day 12

This is our last day at Stanford. After our scrumptious breakfast, we went to Capitola. It was such a long ride. We first arrived at the Capitola beach; we immediately changed into our beach wear, put lots of sunscreen to prevent sun burnt and went into the sea to enjoy the sea breeze. We took lots of photos there and it was so comfortable soaking our feet into the sea water. We loved the beach so much! Then we played volleyball there with friends from other groups, it was our first time playing volleyball on the beach, this was so unforgettable. We enjoyed our time a lot at the beach today.

Afterwards, we went to the mall for lunch. There were two choices, burger and Mexican food. Our group chose to have burgers at Five Guys. We filled our cheese and bacon burger with lots of toppings and sauce like tomato, ketchup and mayonnaise. The beef was so juicy and the whole burger was just so delicious! After lunch, we went back to the dorm and had our last free time for sign out. Our group had our last Jamba Juice here in Stanford and did shopping at the market place and the Stanford bookstore. We bought so much snacks which were hard to find in Hong Kong that we could hardly put all our snacks into our suit cases. We ended our last dinner at Stanford with Buffalo wings. The wings were filled with garlic and sweet sauce and we couldn't stop eating. However, the sweet wings tasted different than we expected. It was a bit spicy that we needed cold drinks to cool us down.

Then, we went back to our rooms and packed our luggage. This is our last day here and we are going to miss this place so much. The day when all of us were struggling who our roommates were is still clearly printed in our minds. We have learnt so much here in Stanford during lessons and have had so much fun during field trips to San Francisco, Monterey and Capitola. We wish to spend more time here is Stanford!
