Times flies, today was already the eleventh day of our Stanford study tour.

We had the opportunity to learn the nonverbal communication which consisted of eye contact, body language, distance, voice and modulation and the use of silence. One of the most important tips from the lesson was the use of silence, as we often thought that communication need sound and noise, however the power of silence was far more significant. The lesson definitely reinforced its importance and it reminded us that we could also use silence in a good way in order to become a better speaker. Besides we should also remove void filler in our speeches in order to sound clearer and became more presentable. The void fillers should be replaced by silence so that everything would make more sense. Another tip which we think was extremely effective in real life was the use of distance as we never thought that distance was such an important tool in a communication.  In addition different cultural background could lead to different distance of comfort, it would be important for us later in life when we started working with different people with diverse background. We learnt to use an effective way in communication and it was really useful for us as it taught us about different skills and techniques for a effective communication.

The second highlight of today must be the most exciting and attractive activities throughout the whole trip, it was the final presentation for our Stanford study tour. Every group was well-prepare for their presentation and ready to express their feelings of this tour. Our group had prepared a short drama for our favorite activities and an individual reflection on different lessons in the trip. Our favorite activity was the San Francisco field trip and four of us have chosen to talk about the visual design, neuroscience, and legal studies lesson for our presentation. We presented with dialogue and make it more interesting. We think group 2 did the best as they have prepared for already a few days and they made a video for their presentation. Their presentation was interactive with games and questions. We all enjoyed our times and we all became more close to each other.
We were all inspired by the speech of the consolers and our classmates, we were all being very touched in a warm atmosphere as we recalled all memories in here, we treasured our times in here and we would never forget it.
