Group 8

Day 7

Today is our seventh day in Stanford. We again started our day with a scrumptious breakfast at the dining hall. Then we went back to the dorm and had our second blogging class. We learnt vocabulary on blogging, synthesis and photo editing at photos.google.com, so to have a better view of the photo in our blog, it was so useful as it made my blog a lot prettier. We also talked about our blog we post in the first week. It was a great time sharing our feelings together.
After having a delicious lunch with mushroom soup, we had our first constitution law class, we were so excited as we had always been watching dramas about trials. We started lesson with a short part of movie on court which was really interesting and we had preparation for our mock trial. We learnt about how to use objections on court for example, we can have objections when the opposing side asked irrelevant questions, argumentative questions, questions that were lack of personal knowledge, questions that were repetitive and when the witness was not answering the question. The mock trial was so fun and at the end of the trial, our team won, we are all super excited! This lesson enhanced our knowledge and interest in legal studies. Afterwards, we headed back to the dorm, where we rested and had tea like apple juice, chocolate bars, chips and cheese! We also had a tie dye workshop here at the dorm. It was so amazing turning plain white t-shirts into colorful t-shirts, red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple...etc.  It was again our first time dying our clothes and an unforgettable experience. We just loved the workshop so much! At the end of the day, we had a full meal at the dining hall and ended our day enjoyably!

We are going to Stanford shopping centre tomorrow where we can get more souvenirs for our family and friends. Hopefully, our luggage is big enough to carry all those unique souvenirs back home.
